Every spring, San Antonio comes together to celebrate community, culture, and tradition during Fiesta. It’s a time when the entire city unites to honor what makes San Antonio special — the people, organizations, and traditions that keep our community strong. For DOCUmation, supporting Fiesta means staying connected to the city where we first planted roots.
In 2025, the 80th annual Texas Cavaliers River Parade lit up the San Antonio River Walk with music, lights, and vibrant floats under the theme “Shine Bright.” This year, the Texas Cavaliers expanded their community impact by launching new initiatives and providing thousands of tickets and meals to families across San Antonio.
Founded in 1926, the Texas Cavaliers are a San Antonio-based organization dedicated to celebrating Fiesta traditions while giving back to the community. What began as a group focused on preserving local heritage has grown into one of San Antonio’s leading charitable organizations.
Each year, the Texas Cavaliers crown King Antonio, who serves as the face of their community outreach. King Antonio visits more than 120 schools and charities during Fiesta, bringing the spirit of celebration directly to the community.
The Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation also made a major impact in 2025, donating more than $3 million to 62 charities across San Antonio. Their commitment to philanthropy continues to shape Fiesta as a platform for service and community support.
In 2025, the Texas Cavaliers introduced Fiesta Stars, a new initiative dedicated to uplifting San Antonio’s intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) community. DOCUmation proudly partnered with the Texas Cavaliers to launch this inaugural effort, which shines a spotlight on the local nonprofits providing essential services to individuals with IDD: Brighton Center, Mission Road Developmental Center, Respite Care of San Antonio, San Antonio Life Academy, Special Reach, The Arc of San Antonio and The Rise School of San Antonio.
For the first time, the Texas Cavaliers provided more than 250 tickets and meals to individuals from the IDD community and their families — including ventilator-dependent children — giving them the opportunity to enjoy the River Parade in a safe, accessible space.
DOCUmation’s sponsorship helped ensure families could experience the event in an area designed for inclusivity. The viewing location offered wheelchair-accessible pathways and elevator access, features not always available throughout the River Walk. This thoughtful setup allowed families to comfortably navigate the space and enjoy the festivities without the usual challenges of crowded, less accessible areas.
