DOCUmation was proud to serve as the presenting sponsor of this year’s Medical Miracles Gala benefiting University Health Foundation, marking the third consecutive year of supporting an organization that continues to make a meaningful impact across South Texas.
This year’s event brought together nearly 800 attendees and raised a record-breaking nearly $927,000 to support the expansion and growth of cardiovascular services throughout the region. The evening reflected more than just a fundraising milestone; it highlighted the growing need for accessible, high-quality healthcare and the importance of community partnerships that help make that care possible.
Healthcare systems today are being asked to do more than ever before. As South Texas continues to grow, so does the demand for expanded patient care, specialized treatment programs, and modern healthcare facilities.
Organizations like University Health play a critical role in meeting those needs while continuing to provide care for communities throughout the region.
For DOCUmation, partnerships like these are about more than sponsorships. They represent an ongoing investment in the long-term health and well-being of the communities where our employees, customers, and families live and work.
DOCUmation’s involvement with University Health extends beyond the Medical Miracles Gala. In 2023, the company also sponsored the Innovation Room inside University Health’s new Women’s and Children’s Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility designed specifically around the unique needs of women, babies, and children.
The Innovation Room was created to support meetings, trainings, and educational opportunities for healthcare professionals within the hospital. For DOCUmation, the sponsorship aligned closely with two long-standing company values: community and innovation.
“Community is one of our top core values at DOCUmation, and we encourage our team members to always look for ways to give back to the areas we live and work in,” said Robby Brown, President of South Texas at DOCUmation. “The Innovation Room, we hope, will bring innovation — another core value of DOCUmation — to the University Health team in their new Women’s & Children’s Hospital.”
The Women’s and Children’s Hospital represents a major investment in specialized care for South Texas families. The facility includes a 24/7 OB/GYN emergency center, a Level IV maternity center, private labor and delivery suites, and a Level IV NICU designed to allow parents to remain close to their babies during treatment.
Additional features include a dedicated Children’s ER, family lounges, educational resources, and support spaces focused on improving both patient care and family experience.
We’re honored to continue supporting the mission of University Health Foundation and grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s Medical Miracles Gala such a success.
Initiatives like these create lasting impact far beyond a single evening — strengthening healthcare access, advancing patient care, and helping build a healthier future for South Texas.
