Woolfolk Brothers Put Family First as DOCUmation Grows Statewide
DOCUmation’s Co-CEO’s Hunter and Preston Woolfolk join San Antonio Business Journal’s Editor-in-Chief Ed Arnold on the Texas Business Minds podcast. They share their unique success story of a thriving third-generation family business.
Tune in to the episode to hear the story of how DOCUmation originated, beginning with their grandfather who pioneered the industry and started the first copier dealer in the world. DOCUmation is the third iteration of the family business and is coming up on 35 years serving San Antonio and across Texas. Hunter and Preston began working in the family business early on, interning and assisting in almost every facet of the business, and taken over to lead as Co-CEO’s for nearly eight years.
“Our big niche is anybody who needs the best service in Texas…we’re the fit for them.” Hunter Woolfolk.
DOCUmation’s growth is a testament to the hard work and family values that have guided the state-wide expansion of the company. DOCUmation’s leadership attributes its success as a business to hard work, its company culture and core values. Upholding these has made DOCUmation a technology solutions provider that Texas businesses rely on.
“A non-negotiable is the highest character…the only way to have the purpose that we’re set out to attain is having really high character leaders on our team,” Hunter Woolfolk.
Hunter and Preston Woolfolk emphasize the driving concern to give back to local communities and prioritize service. The brothers discuss the importance of the new generation of leaders stepping in to maintain that connection and be the business that helps grow their community. With offices across the state, DOCUmation still prioritizes local leadership at each location.
“Our goal here is not to build a corporation, it’s to build a great regional system of DOCUmation offices in these local markets, with the decision maker being inside that market,” Preston Woolfolk.
