Intern Spotlight: Meet Scott Busbee of Abilene Christian University

Scott Busbee, a marketing major at Abilene Christian University (class of 2026), is spending his summer as a sales intern with DOCUmation’s West Texas team. Drawn to the challenge of B2B sales, Scott joined DOCUmation to deepen his understanding of sales strategy and techniques.

 One of the first things Scott noticed during his internship is how long the sales process can take. This experience has given him a deeper appreciation for patience, timing, and persistence—skills that are critical in building strong client relationships.

Among his early achievements, Scott is proud of scheduling meetings with several national oil companies. He draws inspiration from leaders like Toto Wolff, the renowned Team Principal and CEO of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, who is known for his relentless focus, no-excuses mentality, and ability to lead high-performing teams under pressure.

Beyond the Office

 Outside of work, Scott enjoys reading, learning, playing golf, and spending time with his dog. He is also passionate about studying psychology, human behavior, and the economy, all of which help fuel his interest in building authentic relationships and helping others succeed.
